Rimjhim Rajhans, the owner is herself a trained artist. Also she posess a degree of Business Administration and work experience in the field of interior decoration and art works. Her experience and knowledge helps her in understanding the various aspects of art, artists and the market. Sharing her versatile experience with Art will definitely benefit Artist as well as clients.

1. Indian Traditional Art

  • Madhubani:
    This folk art, also known as Mithila Art, is a style of art, practiced in Mithila region of State of Bihar in India and its adjacent part, Terai of Nepal. Fingers, twigs, nib-pens, matchsticks and sometimes brushes are used along with the natural dyes and pigment for this art, characterized by several geometrical patterns. The five forms of this art are Bharni, Katchni, Tantrik, Godna and Gobar.
  • Warli:
    This is a tribal art of the tribes, who comes from the mountainous as well as coastal parts of the two western states of India, Maharashtra and Gujrat. This type of art uses, the basic geometrical figures, Triangles, Circles and Squares. The triangles represents the nature, such a mountains and pointed trees, whereas circles represents Sun and Moon. The squares are mostly used in ritual paintings.
  • Pichwai (Miniature):
    A traditional art of Nathdwara region of State of Rajasthan of India. Pichwai are intricate paintings which portray Lord Krishna. Other than artistic appeal, this art narrates the tales of Krishna to the illiterates.
  • Tanjore:
    A classical painting style from the southern region of India, Tamil Nadu and some parts of Karnataka. However this form originates from an ancient town Thanjavur (later know a Tanjore) of Maratha Court. These are panel paintings done on wooden planks and hence also known as 'Palagai Padam'.
  • Patta-Chitra:
    A traditional art of eastern state of India Odhisa. It is a cloth based scroll painting. This art resembles the old murals of Odhisa, especially the centers like Puri, Konark and Bhubaneshwar, dating back to 5th Century BC.
  • Baatik:
    A cloth based art, which use manual wax-resist-dyeing. This kind of art can be found in India and several other south Asian countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and China and also in some parts of Nigeria in Africa. There are various forms of this art
